C. Studio blankets are proudly made in a small, eco-friendly mill in New York. We take care in selecting partners who uphold our values in their approach to sustainable sourcing and production, and who provide proven living wages and clean and ethical working conditions. 

On-Demand Production

Sadly, overproduction in the global textile industry is one of the biggest threats to our environment today. The rise of fast-fashion and instant gratification in consumer shopping habits in our recent history has lead to a worldwide decline in material quality, rise in carbon emissions, and an enormous generation of waste. Most products that are created and not sold will wind up in landfills (an average of 11 million tons per-year to be exact, according to the Environmental Protection Agency). 

At C. Studio, we vehemently oppose contributing to this business model and instead value an approach that is slow and intentional, taking care to produce heirloom quality products that are made to last for generations. In addition, we've embraced a small-batch model of production, meaning we never create more than we can sell. We encourage thoughtful and conscious shopping and are aligned with you in working to leave the world better than we found it.  

Materials

Our materials are carefully selected when designing our products to provide incredible comfort and durability, free of synthetics and toxins. Our Egyptian Cotton fiber is spun in Egypt with extra-long Giza 86 cotton fiber, renown for its premier softness and strength that retains its signature feel wash after wash. Our Extra-Fine Merino Wool is sourced from Italian legacy mills and is cashmere-like to the touch, never scratchy, and exceptionally warm.
